1. NOMENCLATURE
The International Council for Contemporary Postgraduate Studies is a non-profit institution that promotes individual autonomy so that, in a constructive and integrative way, the individual can improve their destiny and that of society.
To extend an open invitation to a significant international event, CONSINTER holds an annual Law Symposium in Spain, in which participants will be able to present their original scientific contributions orally with the possibility of publication in one of its official international works, valuing their publication in both Europe and Brazil, which are:
The CONSINTER International Law Journal with Qualis A3 and the Direito e Justiça Book, published by Editorial Juruá, are the only Portuguese-Brazilian publishers in the SPI (Scholarly Publishers Indicators). This international ranking indicates the editorial prestige and qualifies for the impact index of all publishers present in Spain.
In 2024, the 11th edition of the CONSINTER Symposium will be held in the beautiful city of Madrid from November 13th to 15th, 2024.

3. ABOUT THE SYMPOSIUM
The Symposium will feature lectures by international and national professors and jurists, as well as working groups with enriching oral presentations of scientific articles developed by legal scholars, bringing together professors and graduation and postgraduation students (postgraduates, masters and PhD students), Brazilian and Ibero-American researchers, lawyers, magistrates, members of the Public Ministry, an opportunity in which they will discuss the results of their work and exchange knowledge.
Participation may be:
- With the submission of a scientific article for publication.
- With the submission of a scientific article for publication + Oral presentation of a scientific article at the current year’s symposium, provided it is approved.
- As a listener (without sending articles), with the opportunity to debate a wide range of topics and exchange knowledge.
Today, the CONSINTER Symposium is recognized by everyone as the most representative meeting held in Spain, bringing together Ibero-American and European jurists.
In addition to this honorable recognition, the Symposium provides effective and fruitful integration of Law operators, heirs of the Portuguese-Spanish culture.
It is an exceptional opportunity for the presentation and publication of unpublished scientific studies and international networking.
Furthermore, CONSINTER and Juruá together provide the opportunity for authors, coordinators, directors, and/or collaborators of works by Juruá Brazil or Europe to launch their works in a beautiful morning of autographs during the Symposium.

5. NOTICE FOR ARTICLES
This Notice/Symposium opens the call for scientific articles to be submitted for possible publication in one of CONSINTER’s official international works, subsequent editions, and oral presentation, provided they are approved.
Papers are accepted in all areas of Law, written in the following 5 languages – Portuguese, Spanish, English, French, and Italian; see item 8 on article classification.
Articles will be evaluated by the CONSINTER Board of Reviewers/Editorial Board through the double-anonymized review system; if approved, they will be published in one of CONSINTER’s official works and may be presented orally during the XI CONSINTER Symposium upon payment of the additional fee for participation/presentation of the article at the event, which may be done at the time of registration or up to 60 days before the event, according to the conditions provided in the notice item No. 13. SUBMISSION TERM.
The publication of scientific articles does not depend on their oral presentation at the event.
The official international works of CONSINTER are:

CONSINTER uses the Open Journal Systems Platform – OJS, a software that aims to streamline the editorial management process and electronic publication of the CONSINTER International Law Journal – Qualis A3 and the Direito e Justiça book.
It is a tool that assists the journal’s editorial process with sending and receiving articles, communicating with authors, and automating peer and anonymous reviews. This way, the OJS Platform gives the journal greater credibility within the scientific community; therefore, the upload must be carried out from his article on the OJS platform (according to notice item no. 13. 10. TARGET AUDIENCE
Who can submit articles:
- Professors linked to graduation and/or postgraduation courses (both Lato Sensu – specialization – and Stricto Sensu in the Master’s and Doctorate lines) who are interested in showing their unpublished scientific studies on one of the proposed thematic areas.
- Specialists, Masters, PhDs, Researchers, University Professors,
- Judges, Representatives of the Public Prosecutor’s Office, Lawyers, and other legal professionals and, in general, people who dedicate themselves in their professional field to any branches or disciplines of Law, who are interested in showing their unpublished scientific studies on any of the thematic areas proposals.
- Stricto Sensu Postgraduate Students (Master’s and PhD students).
- Lato Sensu Postgraduate Students (specialists).
- Graduation students may submit their articles as long as they are co-authored with their supervisor (with the possibility of publication only in the CONSINTER book).
11. DISSEMINATION OF THE LEGAL INVESTIGATION ON THE CONSINTER INTERNATIONAL LAW SYMPOSIUM AND PUBLICATION RIGHTS OF THE ARTICLES
CONSINTER enables visibility of scientific production in its official international CONSINTER publications, offering the following benefits:
a) Publication of your article in the CONSINTER International Law Journal and indexed in the National and International databases of great relevance in the academic world, allowing greater visibility for it, such as:
b) Publication in the Direito e Justiça book with three different ISBNs: European, Brazilian, and digital.
c) The opportunity to present your scientific article orally during the current year’s Symposium provided that the registration option for presentation/participation in the event has been purchased, as outlined in item ORAL PRESENTATIONS, letters “b” and “c.”
d) The possibility of receiving an international certification issued by the University if you choose to participate in the event.
e) The opportunity to disseminate your scientific study, reaching a more significant number of people.
f) Expanding your network with people of high scientific and academic levels is possible.
g) The opportunity to seek the transfer of scientific knowledge will contribute to the recognition of research activity and international scientific cooperation.
12. INFORMATION ON PUBLICATIONS
Articles will be selected and approved by the CONSINTER Editorial Board and/or Board of Reviewers, meeting scientific quality criteria. Analysis will be carried out using the double-anonymized review system, following the requirements of national and international research and teaching agencies and institutions that evaluate Postgraduate research activity.
Texts will be selected by the CONSINTER Editorial Board at their discretion for publication in periodic editions of the CONSINTER International Law Journal— Qualis A3 or Direito e Justiça book.
If approved for the Journal, it will be published in print and digital versions with their respective Portuguese ISSNs, with the digital version made available free of charge on the link https://revistaconsinter.com/edicoes-anteriores/. The Direito e Justiça book, with an ISBN register, will have three editions: a printed edition in Portugal and two editions in Brazil (one digital and one printed).
The article’s selection for publication considers numerous factors, including the chronological order of the receipt date and the return date after making corrections when requested.
The main criterion for publication in the CONSINTER International Law Journal is the author or one of the authors having the title of PhD; otherwise, his article will be evaluated anyway, and if approved by the CONSINTER Council, it will be published in the Direito e Justiça book.
The article’s publication date is not linked to the call notice’s or the event’s and may be published after those.
The Publication of the approved articles by the Editorial Board and/or Referees Board does not depend on the presence of the authors in the Symposium.
