CONSINTER – International Council for Contemporary Postgraduate Studies.
The CONSINTER International Journal of Law, qualified with QUALIS A3, and the Book Direito e Justiça is published by Editorial Juruá, which is the only Portuguese-Brazilian publisher included in the SPI (Scholarly Publishers Indicators) – an international ranking that indicates editorial prestige and qualifies the impact index of all publishers present in Spain.

CONSINTER is designed to promote individual autonomy so that, in a constructive and integrating way, individuals may improve their own destiny and the destiny of society in general.
ABOUT THE NOTICE
This Notice opens the call for submission of scientific articles for possible publication in one of CONSINTER’s official works, in subsequent editions and their oral presentation, once approved.
The articles will be analyzed by CONSINTER’s Body of Reviewers/Editorial Board through the double-blind review system. If approved, they will be published in one of CONSINTER’s official works and may be presented orally during the XI CONSINTER International Law Symposium – Universidad de Complutense de Madrid, from November 13th to 15th, 2024, upon payment of an additional fee for participation/presentation of the article at the event, which must be done at the time of registration (see item 13). The publication of articles does not depend on their oral presentation.
The official works of CONSINTER: the journal “Revista International Consinter de Direito”, with European ISSN and DOI number, and the book “Direito e Justiça”, with three distinct ISBNs, European, Brazilian and Digital.

CONSINTER uses the Open Journal Systems Platform – OJS, a software that aims to streamline the editorial management process and electronic publication of the CONSINTER International Journal of Law and the book Direito e Justiça, both official works of CONSINTER.
It is a tool that assists the journal’s editorial process with sending and receiving articles, communicating with authors, and automating peer and blind review.
In this way, the OJS Platform gives the journal greater credibility within the scientific community. Therefore, it is essential that your article is uploaded (according to item 7) on the OJS platform.
This Notice opens the call for submission of scientific articles for possible publication in one of CONSINTER’s official works, in subsequent editions, and their oral presentation as long as they are approved.
It is at the discretion of the Organizing Committee to indicate and number the CONSINTER Journal or Book in which the approved article will be published.
The indication takes into account numerous factors, from the chronological order of the date of receipt to the date of return after making corrections when requested, among other criteria.
The publication date of the article is not linked to the date of the call notice nor the date of the event and may be published after the event.

TARGET AUDIENCE
You can submit articles:
- Professors linked to undergraduate and/or postgraduate courses (both Lato Sensu – specialization – and Stricto Sensu in the Master’s and Doctorate lines) who are interested in showing their unpublished scientific studies on one of the proposed thematic areas.
- Specialists, Masters, PhDs, Researchers, University Professors.
- Judges, Representatives of the Public Prosecutor’s Office, Lawyers and other legal professionals and, in general, people who dedicate themselves in their professional field, to any branches or disciplines of Law, who are interested in showing their unpublished scientific studies on any of the areas proposed themes.
- Stricto Sensu Postgraduate Students (master’s and doctoral students).
- Lato Sensu Postgraduate Students (specializing and specialists).
- Undergraduate students can submit their articles as long as they are co-authored with their advisor (with the possibility of publication only in the CONSINTER book).
The main criterion for publication in the CONSINTER International Journal of Law – QUALIS A3 is the author having a Ph.D. title. If he does not have it, his article will be evaluated in the same way, and if approved by the CONSINTER Council, it shall be published in the book Direito e Justiça.
Observing CONSINTER’s basic premise of supporting and promoting scientific and academic production, it is important to inform that all articles proven to be registered, paid and originated in accordance with the target audience described above in item 4 and in accordance with the submission rules indicated in item 16 of this document.
DISSEMINATION OF THE LEGAL INVESTIGATION AND PUBLICATION OF THE ARTICLES
Observing the scenario that imposes great difficulties for those interested in publishing their studies and research work, CONSINTER appears with the purpose of contributing to the dissemination of academic studies, publishing them, facilitating their dissemination, and also promoting excellent research training and the knowledge transfer from the University to society.
The articles will be subjected to a selection and approval process by the Editorial Board of CONSINTER, meeting criteria of scientific quality, being the analysis carried out in the double-blinded review system, according to the requirements by the national and international institutions and agencies of investigation and teaching that evaluate the investigating activity of post-graduation.
Thus, in addition to providing visibility to scientific production in official CONSINTER publications, the authors of the approved articles by the CONSINTER Editorial Board shall have:
a) His/her paper published in the CONSINTER International Law Journal – QUALIS A3 and indexed in the National and International databases of great relevance in the academic world, allowing greater visibility for it, such as Scielo Portugal, Dialnet Google Scholar, Latindex, REDIB, CAPES, LivRe, Sumários.org, Cite Factor, Superior Electoral Court, Virtual Network of Integrated Libraries (RVBI), MIAR, MIGUILIM, Diadorim and member of Crossref or in the book Law and Justice.
b) The opportunity to present your scientific article orally during CONSINTER Universidad Complutense de Madrid – 2024, upon payment of an additional fee for participation/oral presentation of the article at the event, which must be done at the time of registration (see item 13).
c) The possibility of receiving international certification if you choose to participate in the event.
d) The opportunity to spread your scientific study, reaching internationally a larger number of people.
e) The possibility of expanding your network with people of high scientific and academic levels.
f) The opportunity to seek the transfer of scientific knowledge, which will contribute to the recognition of research activity and international scientific cooperation.
INFORMATION
All texts will be evaluated by the double-blind review system, respecting the authors’ anonymity.
At the sovereign and exclusive discretion of the CONSINTER Editorial Board, some texts will be selected for publication in the CONSINTER International Journal of Law – QUALIS A3, with the respective ISSN. This publication will have two editions in Portugal, one printed and the other digital, which is available free of charge.
The selection of the article for publication takes into account numerous factors, from the chronological order of the date of receipt, the date of return after making corrections when requested, among other criteria.
The publication date of the article is NOT linked to the date of the call notice, nor the date of the event, and may be published after the event.
The articles that have not been selected to the journal “Revista Internacional CONSINTER de Direito – QUALIS A3”, but which have been approved by the Editorial Board, will be published in the official book of “CONSINTER Direito e Justiça”, with ISBN register. This publication will have three editions: one printed in Portugal, and two editions in Brazil (one digital and the other one printed).
Approved articles may be presented orally during the CONSINTER International Law Symposium of the current year, by the author(s), with a set time that will be informed by email.
