THE CONGRESSES / objective, justification, audience and useful information

1. NOMENCLATURE

The International Council for Contemporary Graduate Studies – CONSINTER is a non-profit institution that promotes individual autonomy, enabling individuals to, in a constructive and integrative way, improve their own destinies and that of society in general.

 

 

2. ABOUT THECONGRESS

XIV International Consinter Law Congress – Universidad Complutense de Madrid – November 18-20, 2026 at Universidad Complutense de Madrid.

To extend an open invitation to a major international event, CONSINTER holds annual Law Symposiums in Spain, during which participants can present their original scientific contributions orally, with the possibility of publication in one of its official international works, thereby valuing their publication in both Europe and Brazil.

 

The CONSINTER Congress will feature lectures by renowned national and international professors and jurists, as well as working groups with oral presentations of scientific articles, during which the results of research will be debated and knowledge exchange promoted. Today, recognized as the most representative legal meeting in Spain, the event brings together jurists from South America and Europe.

3. ABOUT THE PUBLICATIONS

Revista Internacional CONSINTER de Direito, with Qualis A3 and the Direito e Justiça Book, both published by Editorial Juruá, which is the only Portuguese-Brazilian publisher included in the SPI (Scholarly Publishers Indicators). This international ranking indicates the editorial prestige and qualifies the impact index of all publishers present in Spain.

5. RELEASES OF JURUÁ BRASIL OR EUROPA WORKS

CONSINTER Congress, in partnership with Editora Juruá Brasil and Editorial Juruá Europa, invites all registrants who are authors of works published by Juruá Brasil or Juruá Europa, as well as coordinators, directors, and organizers, to participate in an autograph morning in the form of a collective release.

All you need to do is register for the event and express your interest to the Organizing Committee by the deadline set out in the regulations. The initiative aims to celebrate academic and literary contributions, give visibility to Juruá publications, and promote dialogue between authors and the public.

If you are included in one of the groups mentioned above, you can participate in the collective release.

Data: November 19, 2025.

Approximate time: 11:00 am, during the coffee break – Spanish time.

To do so, it is essential to confirm your attendance by July 31 so that your work can be included in the program and in the promotional materials, in addition to defining how to send them via mail contato@consinter.org.

 

 

6. ABOUT THE CALL

This Call for Papers invites the submission of scientific articles for possible publication in one of CONSINTER’s official publications in subsequent editions, as well as their oral presentation, provided they are approved. See the complete document with the submission rules.

All articles will be accepted for analysis and possible publication if they have been registered, paid for, and originated according to the target audience described above in the TARGET AUDIENCE section and following the submission rules indicated in the WRITING STANDARDS section of this document.

The main criterion for publication in Revista Internacional CONSINTER de Direito – QUALIS A3 is that the author or one of the authors holds a PhD; otherwise, the article will be evaluated and, if approved by the CONSINTER Council, published in the Direito e Justiça book.

It is at the discretion of the Organizing Committee to indicate the CONSINTER Journal or book number in which the approved article will be published.

The indication takes into account numerous factors, including the chronological order of receipt dates and the return date after corrections have been made, when requested, among others.

The publication date of the article is not linked to the call notice’s date, nor to the event’s date, and may be published after those.

8. OPEN JOURNAL SYSTEMS – OJS

CONSINTER uses the Open Journal Systems Platform – OJS, a software to streamline the editorial management process and electronic publication of the Revista Internacional CONSINTER de Direito – QUALIS A3 and the Direito e Justiça book.

It is a tool that assists the Journal’s editorial process with sending and receiving articles, communicating with authors, and automating peer and anonymous review. This way, the OJS Platform gives the Journal greater credibility within the scientific community; therefore, the upload of your article must be carried out on the OJS platform, according to WRITING STANDARDS and TERMS AND SUBMISSION METHODS items.

 

 

9. AREAS FOR SUBMITTING ARTICLES

Entries from all Law areas will be accepted, according to the following classification:

10. TARGET AUDIENCE

Scientific articles developed by Legal scholars, bringing together professors and undergraduate and graduate students (graduate, master’s, and doctoral students), researchers, lawyers, magistrates, members of the Public Prosecutor’s Office, Brazilians, and Ibero-Americans, providing an opportunity in which they will discuss the results of their work and exchange knowledge.

Who can submit articles:

  • Professors linked to undergraduate and/or graduate courses (both Lato Sensu – specialization – and Stricto Sensu in the Master’s and Doctorate lines), who are interested in showing their unpublished scientific studies on one of the proposed thematic areas.
  • Specialists, Masters, PhDs, Researchers, University Professors, Judges, Representatives of the Public Prosecutor’s Office, Lawyers, and other legal professionals, and, in general, people who dedicate themselves to their professional field, to any branches or disciplines of Law, who are interested in showing their unpublished scientific studies on any of the thematic areas proposals.
  • Stricto Sensu Graduate Students (master’s and doctoral students).
  • Lato Sensu Graduate Students (specialist students and specialists).
  • Graduation students may submit their articles, as long as they are co-authored with their supervisor (with the possibility of publication only in the CONSINTER book).

 

 

11. BENEFITS OF PUBLISHING AND PARTICIPATING IN THE CONGRESS

Benefits of Publishing:

  1. Their article will be published in Revista Internacional de Direito CONSINTER – Qualis A3 – and indexed in renowned national and international databases, such as Google Scholar, SciELO Portugal, EBSCO, Latindex, Dialnet, CAPES, Sumarios.org, CiteFactor, Tribunal Superior Eleitoral, Rede Virtual de Bibliotecas Integradas (RVBI), and MIAR, as well as being registered with ABEC and Crossref, ensuring wide visibility and credibility in the academic world;
  2. The opportunity to present their scientific article orally during this year’s International CONSINTER Law Congress by paying an additional fee for the article participation/oral presentation, which must be paid at the time of registration, see REGISTRATION FEES item;
  3. Receive a certificate for participation in the CONSINTER Congress;
  4. The opportunity to disseminate their scientific study internationally, reaching a greater number of people;
  5. The possibility of expanding their network with people of high scientific and academic levels.
  6. The opportunity to seek the scientific knowledge transfer, which will contribute to the recognition of research activity and international scientific cooperation.

 

 

12. INFORMATION

All submitted texts will be evaluated under a double-anonymized review system to ensure the authors’ full anonymity.

Texts which, although approved by the body of referees, are not selected for Revista Internacional CONSINTER de Direito will be included in the official CONSINTER book entitled Direito e Justiça (ISBN registration). This book will have three editions: one printed in Portugal and two editions in Brazil – one digital and one printed.

The publication of articles approved by the Editorial Board and/or Board of Referees DOES NOT depend on the article submission.

13. TERMS AND SUBMISSION METHOD

The article can only be sent via upload on the website OJS, according to the instructions below and/or therein, after registration and payment have been made. The article upload must only be carried out once on the above-mentioned site by one of the authors, according to the step-by-step instructions at: How to submit the article.

Registrations/submissions and articles will be accepted according to the calls below:

  • Until 03/31/2026 – 1st Call.
  • Until 04/30/2026 – 2nd Call.
  • Until 05/31/2026 – 3rd Call.
  • Until 06/30/2026 – 4th Call.
  • Until 07/31/2026 – Last Call

 

14. APPROVAL COMMUNICATION

The deliberations of the CONSINTER Editorial Board regarding the approval or rejection of articles, as well as any requests for corrections, will be communicated directly to the author by email.

Approved articles may be presented orally by the author(s) at the Congress promoted by CONSINTER in the current year, according to the determined time, which will be previously informed by email.

At the CONSINTER Editorial Board’s sole discretion, certain articles will be selected for publication in Revista Internacional CONSINTER de Direito (QUALIS A3, with respective ISSN). This Journal will have two editions in Portugal – one printed and one digital – with the electronic version available free of charge.

 

15. CERTIFICATIONS AND ARTICLE APPROVAL STATEMENTS

  1. Statements:
    The approval statement of a scientific article will be issued, provided that the article is approved, upon request to the email contato@consinter.org
  2. Certifications:
    Participants and those who effectively presented their paper during the CONSINTER Congress will receive an email with a link to download the certificate issued by the organizing University, depending on the registration option selected and the participation format.

 

16. CONDITIONS

  1. The submission of scientific articles for review is conditional upon confirmation of registration and payment, at the same time, by all authors and co-authors;
  2. Only articles approved by the CONSINTER Editorial Board will be published.

 

17. ORAL PRESENTATIONS

Approved articles may be presented orally by the author(s) at the Congress promoted by CONSINTER this year, using one of the registration methods:

  • Acquisition of PACKAGE DEAL (submission + presentation);
  • Submission accompanied by the purchase of a Presentation Fee.

The same article can be presented at the Congress in the following ways:

  • Purchase of PACKAGE DEAL (submission + presentation);
  • Submission accompanied by the purchase of a Presentation Fee for each additional Congress.

Shows, spectacles and exhibitions are some of the attractions of Madrid’s bustling cultural life. There is always a good show on display in town.

Additionally, sporting events such as matches between local teams Atlético de Madrid and Real Madrid (with its large museum) are great options for visitors.
